I. Purpose
Design inspection is to detect and minimize errors in design products to help the project be built in accordance with the overall and detailed planning, in accordance with technical standards, design regulations and standards and ensure sustainability, safety and comfort for users.
II. Content of design verification work
1. Carry out design verification including:
- General inspection works.
- Check the architectural design.
- Check the structural design of the project.
- Check the design of the project's technical system
2. Verify the total estimate:
- Check the accuracy of the volume.
- Check the application of unit price codes established by designer consultants.
- Check the assembly of the tail ratios of the estimate in accordance with current regulations.
- Check the application of unit price at the time of price calculation on the basis of the issued Price Committee, the price of the construction and finance department at the construction site, and the average reference price of at least 03 newspaper suppliers (if the material type is not included in these unit prices).
- If the unit price is not included in the price notice: request the Design party to explain the unit price. Verification consultants will recheck the actual price of those items.
3. Report on verification results
The inspection report will be prepared and submitted to the Investor according to the requirements of the design inspection and total estimate.
The content of the inspection report will include:
- Project name, Investor.
- Full name of the examiner and reviewer.
- Purpose and content of design inspection work.
- Normative standards and documents as a basis.
- Legal status of the design unit.
- Brief description of the main features of the project
- List of used drawings and design calculations.
- Comments on documents and design drawings for important parts and components. The good and bad points, the reasons why the design is not suitable and needs to be changed or repaired.
